How Physio Zone collects, uses and protects your personal data, and the choices you have. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Who we are
Physio Zone ("Physio Zone", "we", "us") is a physiotherapy clinic at Kengeri Ring Rd, Jnanabharathi Extension, Subash Nagar, Kengeri Satellite Town, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560060, led by Dr. Yadenthira Babu, PT. We decide why and how your personal data is used, so under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 we are the Data Fiduciary. You are the Data Principal.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need to book and look after your visit. When you use the booking or contact form, call us or message us, we may collect:
- Your name and phone number, so we can confirm your appointment.
- Your email address, only if you choose to give it.
- The type of visit you want (clinic, home or video), your preferred date and time, and the service you are interested in.
- Your address or area, only for home visits, so our physiotherapist can reach you.
- A short description of your problem. This is health information, so please share only what helps us prepare for your visit.
- Technical details our server records when a form is sent: the date, time and your IP address. We use these to stop spam and misuse.
When you become a patient, we also keep the treatment notes and records you share with us at the clinic.
Why we use it
- To arrange your clinic appointment, home visit or video consultation.
- To call, message (including on WhatsApp) or email you about your booking and your care.
- To plan and give you treatment, and keep proper clinical records.
- To meet our legal duties and protect our website from abuse.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles, and we never sell your data.
Our basis for using your data
We use your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our forms or by contacting us yourself for an appointment. Some records, such as treatment notes, may also have to be kept because the law requires it.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Email info@physiozone.in or call 088678 97000 and tell us. We will stop using your data for that purpose and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it, but we may not be able to continue booking or treating you without the details we need.
Who we share it with
Only the people who need it to look after you see your data: Dr. Babu and the clinic team. We also rely on a few service providers who handle data on our behalf, under our instructions:
- Our website and email hosting provider (Hostinger), which stores this website and delivers form messages to our inbox.
- WhatsApp, Zoom or your phone network, if you choose to contact us or have a video consult that way. Those services also follow their own privacy policies.
We may share data if the law, a court or a government authority requires it, or in a medical emergency to protect your life or health. We never sell or rent your data.
How long we keep it
- Booking and contact enquiries that do not lead to a visit are deleted within 12 months.
- Patient records are kept for as long as needed for your care and for the period the law requires, and then deleted.
- Form spam-protection logs are kept for a few minutes only.
Before we erase data because it is no longer needed, we will try to let you know at least 48 hours in advance where the law asks us to, so you can tell us if you still want us to keep it.
How we protect it
Our website runs only over a secure HTTPS connection, so form details are encrypted on the way to us. Access to enquiries and records is limited to the clinic team. We take reasonable security steps to prevent a data breach.
If there is a data breach
If a personal data breach happens, we will tell the affected people without delay, explaining what happened, the likely impact and what we are doing about it, and we will report it to the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Children
If the patient is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the booking and give consent on the child's behalf. We do not track children or show them advertising.
Your rights
As a Data Principal, you can ask us to:
- Access a summary of your personal data and how we use it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correct or update anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erase your data when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you pass away or become unable to do so.
- Raise a grievance with us about how your data is handled.
To use any of these rights, email info@physiozone.in or call 088678 97000. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We will reply as soon as we can, and in any case within 90 days.
